Community event.
The guest speakers will be our FWPD Neighborhood Crime Watch (NCW) specialist Dorothy Tyler, our NPO Ralph Salazar, TRWD Police, and Code Compliance officers. The speakers will talk to us and help answer your questions about crime and safety issues in our community. We can also meet our new FWPD NW Division "David" District NPO Sergeant. Our guest speakers can help answer questions, such as:
Guns, open-carry on Landing property
Use of Crime mapping and NEXTDOOR to help neighborhood surveillance
Car & boat break-ins
Scams
Calling 911 and filing crime reports with Police, TRWD, and Code Compliance
"No Soliciting" signs on homes
LPR surveillance cameras at road entrances, marina, and homes
Traffic light at Landing Way & Boat Club Rd, and traffic noise
Other suggestions from police to help us reduce neighborhood crime
Please attend and get to know our Police and neighbors! This is also a great opportunity for us to talk with Ms. Tyler about our Landing Neighborhood Watch (NW) program, meet our block captains, and help get our neighbors connected after recovering from the pandemic. Remember to put on your calendars that National Night Out (NNO) is always held at the Landing clubhouse on the 1st Tuesday in October (Oct. 4th in 2022) and is an opportunity for us to show support for our police, first responders, and city officials.
